The Christchurch Rifle Club is a small but dedicated club of enthusiastic NRA shooters who regularly meet on a weekly basis to shoot distances out to 1000yrds. The club utilises a local 1000 yard range with shooting mounds that start at 300 yards and work back to 1000 yards.
The Christchurch Rifle Club is always keen to help shooters new to the sport.
For those new shooters or people interested in joining the Club who are put off by not having a suitable rifle, don’t be. The Club has its own club rifle, rests and customised ammunition. A small range fee and ammunition cost is charged to recover costs of the ammunition.
People are more than welcome to use their own rifles but NEED to contact Andrew first to ensure that their rifle meets basic requirements, such as calibre and accuracy. Rifles must be able to shoot less than an inch (max) group at 100 meters. Again a small range fee is associated.
