In due course I will tidy this area up, however i was fortunate to enough to get some great images of some Lee Metfords and thought it better to at least get them online. I  can tidy it up later!

Magazine Lee Metford Rifle MkII

The above rifle is a Magazine Lee Metford MkII and is dated 1893. The rifle itself is a .303 cal rifle and has  a 7 grooved Metford rifled barrel. The barrel is 30.2 inch (767mm) and has an overall length of 49.5 inch’s (126mm). The rifle has a 10 round magazine and weighed 9lb 4oz (4.2kg). The MKII was made at Sparkbrook and Enfield between 1894-1896.
